About The Spovangelist

The Spovangelist conventionally existed as a civics and culture blog between 2008-2011, launched by a hopelessly retro-romantic millennial who unexpectedly came to work three jobs in her home town during the wake of the Great Recession. People assumed she was a guy, tiny "bibles" were printed and sprinkled throughout the city, stories were scooped, organizations were founded and friends were recruited to co-publish with her until she was devoured by the promise of learning the ropes of the political machine that had gotten us into this mess in the first place. Passwords were changed and the keys to the Kingdom were lost. Three years of community devotionals and exhortations died a gristly digital death in the maw of a Japanese content aggregator, never to be seen in their original integrity again.

About This Incarnation

A lifetime later in August 2024, The Spovangelist is now reincarnated as an independent art project and personal public journal.
